During World War II, due to the United States' implementation of "rationing," the production of jeans and shirts had to simplify certain details to conserve resources. Additionally, all buttons were required to be made using the military-issued "laurel" buttons.
Crooked Rain faithfully recreates every small detail of the WWII version, including four "laurel" buttons and pocket designs without flaps!
Additionally, the cutting of this piece is also a key selling point of Lot 945! It features a short, narrow silhouette with perfectly tailored sleeve length. The overall look is very sharp and streamlined. Pair it with Crooked Rain's series of payment denim jeans to let enthusiasts perfectly showcase the style of that era.
